October 17 · izzy gallacherYoga in state college is open and welcome. I find it to be a great community-centric space. I found myself practicing and growing amongst a sea of familiar faces for many years. YIST is a place for spiritual practice, and does not function like many "yoga studios" in America, which to me feel primarily focused on fitness. There is something here for everyone! This was my home away from home for many years, I am grateful to have had this space in my life. ❤️
October 13 · Gabrielle ReeseYoga in State College is a studio with great energy. I go several times a week and I love how calm and relaxed I feel after a class. The studio offers a variety of classes throughout the week and the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. Classes range from easy going/beginner to the more intense (check the schedule on the webpage), but modifications are always offered and I have never felt pressured into doing an asana (pose) I wasn't ready to do.
January 06 · Jane RubbaDefinitely a great environment where even beginners, such as myself, can feel welcomed. Yogis that attend are very friendly. I was never really into yoga but a few sessions here really changed that.
