Vive Fitness is known for several key features and highlights that set it apart in the local fitness community. One of the most significant is its equipment and space. A member with 10 years of bodybuilding experience praised the gym for having "every piece of equipment you really need" and "enough space for stretching, etc." This indicates that the gym is well-equipped to handle serious training, not just basic workouts. The professionalism of the staff and management is another strong point, as highlighted by a satisfied member who believes the gym is "ran the right way." This suggests a commitment to excellent customer service and a well-organized operation. The gym also offers a variety of class types, from high-intensity options like kickboxing and spin to more restorative classes like yoga. This diverse range allows members to create a well-rounded fitness routine that can be both challenging and sustainable. Vive Fitness also stands out for its flexibility in membership, offering flexible plans for both year-round residents and summer visitors, as well as day and weekly passes. This is a significant advantage for a location like Point Pleasant Beach, which sees a large influx of seasonal visitors. However, it's also important to note that, as with any business, opinions on its features can vary. One review raised a serious concern about the gym's ventilation and temperature, describing the workout area as "oppressively hot" and "a hot, humid mess with zero air circulation" during warmer weather. The review pointed out a lack of fans and poor airflow, suggesting that the gym's comfort level could be a significant factor for some potential members, particularly in the summer months. This highlights the importance of visiting the gym in person to assess the environment for yourself and see if it aligns with your personal comfort needs before committing to a membership.
Extensive Equipment: The gym is praised for its comprehensive selection of equipment, suitable for a wide range of fitness goals, including serious bodybuilding.
Professional Staff and Management: Members are delighted with how the gym is run, citing the staff as professional and the operations as well-managed.
Variety of Classes: A broad selection of group exercise classes, including aerobics, yoga, Zumba, spin, and kickboxing, provides options for all interests and fitness levels.
Flexible Membership Options: The gym offers flexible plans for both long-term residents and short-term visitors, including day and weekly passes, accommodating the seasonal nature of the area.

So, why is Vive Fitness worth choosing over other options in the Point Pleasant area? For a long-time bodybuilder, it’s the place that "is easily the best" due to its robust equipment and professional management. The fact that it has "every piece of equipment you really need" is a significant draw for those with specific fitness goals. The staff and management receive high praise for running the gym "the right way," which can make a huge difference in a member's experience. The wide variety of classes is another compelling reason, allowing members to switch up their routines and stay engaged. Whether you're interested in the high-energy fun of Zumba, the discipline of yoga, or the intensity of a spin class, you’ll find a class that suits you. However, as noted in a critical review, it's important to be aware of the potential for poor ventilation and high temperatures during warmer weather. This is a significant factor to consider, particularly for those who are sensitive to heat or who prefer to work out in a cooler environment. Ultimately, the choice comes down to your personal priorities. If you value a gym with a wide range of equipment, a diverse class schedule, and professional management, Vive Fitness has a lot to offer. The gym's commitment to accommodating both year-round residents and seasonal visitors is a testament to its understanding of the local market. By offering flexible membership options, it makes it easier for people to get in a workout, no matter how long they're in town. It is a gym that has built a solid reputation for its services and staff, but it’s always wise to visit and make an informed decision for yourself. For many, it will be the perfect place to get fit and stay healthy in the heart of Point Pleasant Beach.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've been going to Vive for over a year now. Super happy I made the transition! Being into bodybuilding for 10 years, I've been to a handful of gyms, Vive is easily the best. Has every piece of equipment you really need and also enough space for stretching, etc. Can't complement the manager and staff enough as well. It is truly a gym that is ran the right way and I am delighted to be a member!
July 18 · Matthew PenkethmanIf You Like Saunas, Join Vive Fitness — If You Want a Real Gym, Look ElsewhereI’ve been to gyms all over the country due to frequent work travel, and in 25 years I’ve never encountered a facility as poorly ventilated and oppressively hot as Vive Fitness in Point Pleasant, NJ.Once the outside temperature climbs above 70 degrees, brace yourself — it feels close to 80 degrees inside the gym. The workout area turns into a hot, humid mess with zero air circulation. Your clothes will stick to your body, your energy will tank fast, and you’ll find yourself wondering if you came to exercise or slow-cook.Want to know why it’s so uncomfortable? Because the thermostat is tucked away in the manager’s private office, which conveniently has its own air vent. That little office stays icy cold while the rest of us sweat buckets just trying to breathe. For a gym that charges $60 a month, you’d think they could spring for a couple of fans — let alone a proper ventilation system. Planet Fitness, which charges a sixth of the price, has massive industrial ceiling fans that keep air moving. Vive Fitness has nothing. Not even a single fan to stir the stagnant air.Bottom line: If you're considering joining this gym, be prepared to leave drenched in sweat — not from exertion, but from the miserable, swampy conditions. Unless you enjoy dehydration, overheating, and the feeling of exercising inside a greenhouse, save your money and go elsewhere.
May 16 · DonnieLove this gym..probably the best one I've ever joined. Super clean, nice equipment and I hardly ever have to wait for a machine. Separate workout areas for those who don't want to be around a ton of people. Clientele seem classy and respectful. Sure, you'll pay a bit more than your standard $20 a month gym, but trust me, you get your money's worth. Although I don't take any of the classes, they seem to have a decent variety to choose from.Highly recommend.
April 20 · Khatera HamidBest all around gym in the area for a reasonable price. Clean, well maintained, well layed out, good group classes, and great selection of equipment. Everything you need and nothing you dont.
August 13 · Stephan GymnichStill a great gym with nice clean equipment. I personally preferred when it was golds and I could get a free day pass for being military. $25 for a day pass is a little steep but it is a very nice gym
