★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I decided to take advantage of the complementary first class offer (hatha yoga beginner series) despite my trepidation having never taken a hot yoga class. For additional context, I’m not a huge fan of gems, I have had memberships in the past that I haven’t used consistently and have opted to make walking 3 miles per day my primary means of Exercise.I’m almost 52 now and have been noticing my body’s been getting stiffer so I thought a warm environment could promote better flexibility. My experience was a really positive one from the very beginning. I was greeted by incredibly friendly staff who were very helpful in orienting me to the space and available equipment. FYI, they have mats available to use as well as towels, but that’s not made clear on their website or app. My first class was with Adam who was very inspirational and supportive and gave clear and helpful instruction. My second class was with Bri, an equally inspiring annd motivating Instructor who offered some very helpful tips on modifying my poses so as to not strain or exacerbate my low back issues. The studio is bright, clean, well-maintained with easy access to free parking. Their app is super intuitive, really easy to book a class, and their memberships are very reasonably priced for the quality of instruction and support they provide. I’ve already invited several of my friends to join me in a class and encourage anyone who’s even a little bit curious to give it a try!
September 23 · Erin HooperCame here for my birthday after a long hike, and I can honestly say it was the best day ever. Daniela the instructor was awesome, great energy and made the class super fun. Pilates and hit workout to 90’s music. I will definitely be back. Front desk gals were super friendly and welcoming. Thanks for making us feel welcomed team. Keep that energy and positive vibes going 🙌🏼
May 31 · Estevan CamarenaHighly recommended for a great variety of workout classes. Instructors and staff make the place feel like a community. Always feel 100 percent better after a TruFusion class!
September 15 · Paul F DeleeuwI’m a bit surprised to see such high ratings for this place given my experience so far. I thought the classes were good, the instructors are very knowledgeable, and I always get a good workout. Huge selection of workout times which I really appreciate.I’m not a huge fan of the lack of windows, bright lights, and the high heat, personally I feel like those are trendy rather than actually useful to my workout, but I guess that makes me old 😂. What made me ultimately decide to stop coming here is the lack of flexibility. It’s insane to me that I arrived a minute after the class had started (class was at 3:30 pm with no full waitlist and I arrived at 3:31) and I was turned away. I am a mom of a toddler and I work full-time, this just doesn’t work for me. I respect they have their rules and processes and people coming a minute late can be disruptive but I personally need a place to workout that isn’t so rigid.
August 12 · Julia GallThis is a new studio so I’ve only had the chance to go to three classes so far, but I’ve been loving it! The space is very nice, and the staff/instructors are friendly. One huge benefit of TruFusion is their variety in classes, it’s a big reason I joined.I was scared of the heated rooms at first but I’ve had success with hydrating beforehand, avoiding a heavy meal right before class, wearing shorts, taking small sips of water, and taking it slow at first. The studio is located right below a parking garage that usually is the least full at U Village. Just give yourself a bit of time so you’re not rushed and you can always set up early and begin to acclimate to the heat.Updating my review after I did a private barre class for my birthday. I love that they offer this, and I had such a great time! If you’re looking for a fun activity for a group, consider booking a private class!
