★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1⸻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A Retreat in Motion – Portugal Like Never BeforeThis 10-day retreat through Portugal was unforgettable — deeply personal and beautifully curated by our yoga instructor Catarina, a native of Portugal. We explored the country through her eyes and heart, and in doing so, we truly felt its soul.We stayed in incredible places: a wildlife sanctuary, a palace, a beach house, and even a windmill! The entire journey was enriched by meaningful moments with Catarina’s friends and family, which gave us a true taste of the culture. Yoga was thoughtfully woven into the experience, enhancing our reflection and connection.Catarina’s love for her country and for us as her guests came through in every detail. She was devoted to making our experience magical — and she did just that.A Retreat in Motion is more than a trip — it’s a soulful adventure I will carry with me forever. With heartfelt gratitude,Sandi Kroh
June 23 · Sandra KrohI went to my first ever breath work session at Hall of Self and enjoyed private class with Catarina ( my partner and I were the only ones at this class)! She made sure to thoroughly explain what we would be doing, possible outcomes of the session, and aftercare. The class was very intense and interesting— my partner and I both felt more grounded and aware afterwards. The room was cozy with blankets, eye masks, and music. Would recommend!
February 24 · Lily StevensWe discovered this gorgeous yoga space, a studio that is not a chain, a private studio with a variety of yoga classes with wonderful trainers ready to listen to the participants and adapt to their needs as well as their levels. Thank you Catarina for creating such an enchanting place.
March 31 · catherine neelyI love this space. I’ve done Breathwork and a few yoga classes here. The vibe is comfortable and inviting. The space already encourages retrospection and serenity, and the staff take it to another level. Breathwork with Catarina is transformative and safe. Yoga here has been nothing short of amazing. I had the pleasure to take classes with Chris, Sydney, Nick and Stephanie so far. All have offered unique classes and heart felt guidance. This is real yoga, no goats. As a yoga teacher myself, I appreciate the skills and energy these teachers offer. There are two practice areas and a meditation room. I’m excited to try the sound healing, and can’t wait to see what else they add to the offering.Jai Bhagwan
September 15 · Home FermentorCatarina is a kind and generous teacher who offers intuitive and personalized guidance to her students. The studio is a beautiful reimagining of a neighborhood church and offers many different types of classes in several different rooms which accommodate all types of practices. She also offers a trial week for $30 so that one can try out multiple classes, whether that be yoga, Pilates, breathwork, or a gentle sound bath in a serene setting. I definitely also recommend Mike’s classes on Monday and Wednesday nights for a challenging but gentle flow.
