StretchLab Introduce
For those of us in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and the surrounding communities, the concept of a fitness center often brings to mind traditional gyms with weights and cardio machines. However, StretchLab offers a unique and highly specialized approach to fitness that focuses on a crucial, yet often overlooked, component of physical health: flexibility. This is not a place for high-impact workouts, but rather a dedicated studio where highly trained Flexologists® provide one-on-one assisted stretching services. The goal is to help you reclaim your freedom of movement, reduce pain and tension, and improve your overall quality of life. For many, this service is the missing piece of the fitness puzzle, a key to breaking through plateaus and feeling your best.
The core philosophy of StretchLab is to provide a deeper, more effective stretch than you could ever achieve on your own. This is done through personalized, one-on-one sessions with expert practitioners who customize a routine to fit your specific needs and flexibility goals. Customer reviews highlight the effectiveness of this approach. One satisfied client, who had completed four sessions, highly recommended the service, noting that they were able to find flexible payment packages, which is a great option for those who don't want a long-term subscription. While a negative review did point out an issue with scheduling and communication, the studio's responsiveness and apologetic nature were noted, showing a commitment to customer service, even when things don't go perfectly. The overall positive feedback about the quality of the work speaks to the true value of the service.
Assisted stretching is a game-changer for people from all walks of life in Oregon, from older adults dealing with daily aches to athletes looking to improve performance and prevent injury. StretchLab's team of professionals, known as Flexologists®, understands how to work with your body to improve your range of motion and reduce pain. This can lead to benefits like standing taller, running faster, and bending easier. The energetic and open environment of the studio makes the experience fun and welcoming, which is essential for making a lasting commitment to your wellness.

StretchLab's services are highly specialized and focused on assisted stretching and flexibility training. Their approach is designed to be highly effective and tailored to the individual.
One-on-One Stretching: The core of the service, offering 25-minute or 50-minute sessions with a certified Flexologist. These sessions are customized to your specific needs, focusing on problem areas and targeting certain muscle groups to improve range of motion and flexibility.
Group Sessions: Some studios may offer group stretching sessions led by a Flexologist. These classes guide participants through a series of stretches and teach proper use of stretch tools, providing a more communal experience.
Mobility Assessments: For new clients, a detailed mobility assessment helps the Flexologist understand your body's specific needs and limitations, allowing them to create a perfectly customized stretching routine.
Normatec™ Compression Therapy: Some locations may offer this pneumatic compression therapy designed to improve circulation, flexibility, and muscle recovery. It uses compressed air to massage the leg muscles and mobilize fluid, making it a great addition to a stretching routine.
Personalized Packages: While the service is often a subscription model, they also offer packages that can be paid upfront, providing flexibility for those who prefer to pay as they go. This allows clients to choose the option that best fits their lifestyle and budget.
This specialized offering ensures that clients receive targeted care that is difficult to find at a typical fitness center, providing a powerful tool for improving physical well-being.
StretchLab's standout features are all centered around providing a premium, client-focused experience.
Expert Flexologists®: The team consists of highly trained professionals who specialize in the art and science of assisted stretching, ensuring a safe and effective session.
Wheelchair Accessible: The commitment to accessibility is a major highlight, with accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating, making the studio truly inclusive.
Personalized Services: Every session is customized to the client's needs, focusing on their specific problem areas and goals.
Flexible Payment Options: While memberships are available, clients can also purchase packages for upfront payment, giving them more control over their financial commitment.
Welcoming Environment: The studios are described as open, fun, and energetic, creating a positive vibe that makes clients look forward to their sessions.
Restroom: A clean and accessible restroom is available for the convenience of all clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They do great work here. I have done 4 sessions. Highly recommend. I am someone who does not like subscription things, but this company does offer a few packages that you can pay upfront and as you go. Just ask at the desk.
July 27 · Leah BurleyMade an appointment for 9am. It's a 30 minute drive each way, so I made sure to arrive a bit early. The shop hours say 8am opening, when I arrived it was locked closed and dark . I waited till my appointment time and then left . Apparently they arrived just as I was leaving and we missed each other . While they very apologetic, they were completely unprofessional in not being open when they say they're open , and arriving right as my appointment which means my appointment would have been late because they were not set up . Very disappointing
September 11 · Scott BloomI hate to write a bad review, but this has been an exceptionally poor experience. I signed up for a first appointment and was cancelled on, last minute 4 TIMES in a row over 3 months. Completely understand an employee gets sick, or something comes up, but 4 times (all cancelled last minute) is just not a working business model. I hope to try down the road with some changes on their end as the place looks great otherwise.
December 31 · Dean ScruttonThis has been an excellent way to stretch after Spinning Class (which I am new at) and golfing. This experience is better than any massage I have ever had.
August 09 · Elizabeth TraubHarrisI went to StretchLab for a 50-minute visit just to check it out. I really enjoyed my experience there. The flexologist was really good. I'd go back again but the price point is just too high.
