Services Offered: Traditional Heat and Modern Fitness Fusion
Stretch specializes in hot yoga but thoughtfully expands its offering to include classes that cater to specific fitness goals, blending tradition with modern conditioning techniques:
- Original Hot Yoga (Bikram Method 26&2): The flagship 90-minute class featuring the classic sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a room heated to approximately 105°F with high humidity. This is the core practice for building strength, flexibility, and mental focus.
- Power Yoga: A dynamic, Vinyasa-based flow class set to music in a heated room. This class is designed for increased muscle strength, endurance, and balance, typically lasting 60 minutes.
- Body Sculpt (formerly known as Glute Gains): A unique, non-heated, hour-long conditioning class that incorporates weights and resistance bands. Led by instructors like the highly-praised Sandi Benz, this class is focused on toning and shaping the glutes, core, and upper body.
- Intermediate Hot Yoga (Bishnu Ghosh Inspired): A 90-minute advanced practice drawing from the original 84 Bishnu Ghosh postures, designed for experienced students seeking to deepen their practice. This class is typically offered by invitation or for dedicated practitioners.
- Private Classes: Tailored, one-on-one or small group sessions designed to address specific goals, refine posture, or introduce the practice in a more controlled setting.
- First-Time Student Promotions: The studio is well-known for offering special introductory deals, such as a complimentary first class or a discounted one-month unlimited package, allowing new California students to fully immerse themselves in the practice risk-free.

What is Worth Choosing: Transformation and Community in the Heat
For California residents searching for a yoga studio that truly delivers on its promise of physical and mental transformation, Stretch Hot Yoga in Burbank stands as an elite choice.
**A Proven Path to Results:** Many yoga studios offer a wide, often confusing, variety of practices. Stretch simplifies this by grounding its foundation in the highly effective Bikram 26&2 sequence, a systematic practice renowned for its ability to promote rapid increases in flexibility, strength, and balance, as evidenced by the member who reported feeling "real changes in my body" and even experiencing weight loss and hormonal balance improvement after dedicated practice. The heat facilitates deeper, safer stretching and promotes detoxification, making the results tangible.
**High-Touch, Personalized Care:** The involvement of owner Liz Baghaei and her attentive teaching style—as noted by the student who was fearful of the heat and received personalized guidance—highlights a level of care that goes far beyond what is expected from a group class. This personalized approach to instruction is crucial for beginners and those with specific health concerns, making the challenging practice manageable and safe.
**An Empowering and Clean Environment:** The spa-like atmosphere, the clean, well-stocked facilities (including those rare-to-find blow dryers!), and the studio's women-owned identity create a sanctuary. For many, the yoga studio is a place of refuge and self-care, and Stretch's attention to cleanliness and aesthetics elevates the entire experience, making it easier to commit to the habit.
If you're an LA local "on the fence" about trying hot yoga or simply looking for the best place to continue your practice, Stretch offers the perfect combination of traditional rigor, modern amenities, specialized classes like Body Sculpt (with Sandi), and a genuinely supportive "yoga community" that you will be sad to leave. Utilizing the new student introductory offers is the best way to experience why this Burbank studio is considered a true gem.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stretch is hands down the best yoga community I’ve experienced. Yes—it’s hot, it’s hard, it’s humbling—and after 90 minutes of 26+2, you’ll feel refreshed and accomplished. The studio is very clean with a spa-like vibe, and the teachers are great. Each brings their own style, and I love that they practice here too—it really adds to the sense of community. After seven months of consistent practice, I can feel real changes in my body—more strength, flexibility, and my balance is a work in progress. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate! Check out Liz’s first-time student promos online, and whatever you do, don’t sleep on Sunday’s Glute Gains—aka ass class, as I call it, lol—with Sandi. Your practice (and ass) will thank you!
January 14 · Lauri CollierI had a fear of doing hot yoga because I don't do well with heat and was scared I would faint or something. But a friend of mine swore to me that I would love it and it would help me with weight loss and helping my hormone balance. So I tried this studio when I was visiting LA.I did a free first class for my first time because they had a promotion but I I had such a great experience that I signed up and did a 30 day challenge (for myself). I ended up losing 15 lbs and had never felt better in my life.In my first class, I told the teacher my concerns, and she told me to set up by the door where it's cooler and that she would open the door at some points during the class. The instructor was very attentive and clearly knew her stuff. I later found out she owns the studio. Her name is Liz and she is fantastic. And regarding the studio, it's one of the most beautiful Yoga places I've ever been to. Extremely clean and high end. The bathrooms and changing facilities are top notch. They even had blow dryers in the bathrooms, which is really rare to see.... And it's the little things that make this studio absolutely amazing. When I had to leave LA, one of the saddest things was that I was leaving the studio. Where Liz has made a lovely and supportive community of not just great teachers. But the students as well. I've never been able to find a place to practice that's been as nice or have a better teaching experience. I'll always go back, when I'm in LA.
May 08 · Nina InfinityYoga was good. Teacher good. Lobby and entrance area + parking good. The flooring.. not a fan, don’t care how many times these places with those old surfaces tell you that it’s clean or slip safer. Room is HOT so the amount of sweat absorbed into it in a single day, week or month, just not me to want to be laying on it with my feet, arms and hands touching it.. nasty 🤮 But room was packed and people didn’t seem to mind. Never seen more sweat on a yoga rooms mirrors ever in over a decade of studios. Literally top to bottom left to right with folks fluids all over the place
December 14 · Rob BaxterWhat a great studio! Today was my essentially my first hot yoga class. Liz was an awesome instructor. She made sure that everyone felt welcome and supported.Although that class was challenging, I loved it and will definitely be back!
December 21 · Ana CabanThis studio is so beautiful and well kept. Going to yoga here feels like such a luxury compared to other studios I have been to. The teachers are amazing and have welcomed me back to the practice after a long break with open and welcoming arms. Would highly recommend!
