I found the workout difficult but modifications were always provided, which is a sign of a great studio. Georgette made sure that as a beginner I always had proper technique or adjustments, which when you use a machine is critical! It was much appreciated. The class felt both challenging and enjoyable, with great music and good cueing from the instructor.Even though it’s pricey, I would 100% recommend. The level of attention coupled with the difficulty of the workout made it worth it. I felt accomplished and much stronger after!
August 11 · Jordan CowieThis place is awful. There are a handful of decent instructors, but the majority are brand new to pilates and it shows. I know it's a solidcore thing, but the instructors don't shut up the entire time during the workout - and the majority of what they're saying is nonsense, run-on filler. Not to mention, the workout isn't great. It has made my shoulders wider as well as my core - I look way boxier now than I did when I started. Beyond that, the staff behind the scenes is incredibly rude. In the beginning when they first opened up, they were having scheduling issues. I politely approached a staff member to ask if I would be able to roll over credits, to which she rudely responded that a lot of people were complaining about the same thing, shoved a business card in my face and told me to e-mail them. As the months have gone on, I have found no improvement on this front. For example, I recently tried to switch from a 6:30 class to a 5:30 class on the same afternoon. It was with the same instructor and spots were open in both classes. I was told no with no explanation as to why. I am 100% going back to SLT once my membership is up. They are experienced, the workout is better, and they don't give you a hard time if you need flexibility with your schedule.

It’s super challenging, definitely outside my comfort zone and keeps me sore for days, but the instructors are so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole class especially hearing them discuss the background of muscle groups/movements. Sara and Rob are amazing, id say insane in the best way and I’ve been able to progress each week thanks to them. The music and atmosphere they create make the burn worth it. I already feel stronger and can see a difference. Only wish there were more weekend or before/after work class times since it books up fast, its hard to find good class times or try to book with friends

At the end of class you feel accomplished like wow I did that! All the coaches are super attentive and helpful during class too.

I saw some not so great reviews on here - but from what I can tell at this time, what some people are experiencing, I believe, is due to this studio being new and accumulating enough staff. This place is brand new, and the only solidcore in Westchester right now! With that said, I've attended a few classes here and the staff is amazing. I can't wait to come back!
