When deciding on a fitness center in D.C., it's important to consider both the quality of the workout and the overall client experience. Adams Morgan, like other locations, offers a unique and incredibly challenging workout that has a strong reputation for producing results. However, the client reviews for this specific location highlight some serious concerns that are worth noting. One customer described being charged for a class they did not attend and faced difficulty in getting a refund or speaking to a representative. This experience, which included an unauthorized transaction, led the client to lose trust in the business and feel uncomfortable making future purchases. While they acknowledged the workout itself was "nice," the issue with billing and customer service was a significant detractor.
Another review from a beginner client expressed frustration with a poor first-class experience. This person, who was accustomed to various group fitness classes, felt that the instructor spoke too quickly, failed to correct their form, and provided no support as a beginner. The workout itself was confusing and lacked a middle ground, leaving the client with a "very poor impression." This feedback is a crucial counterbalance to the promotional materials, as it suggests that the studio's execution can be inconsistent. While the unique workout is a major draw, these reviews indicate that potential clients should be aware of potential issues with billing practices and the possibility of a less-than-supportive experience for beginners. For a new client, this information is vital for setting realistic expectations and deciding if this is the right fitness center for them.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was charged for a class for this location that i never been to??? Nice workout but do not give your credit card information. They will make unauthorized transactions on your account. I completed & paid for the unlimited two week trial. However I didn’t want to go forward with a membership after the trial i already paid for. They charged my card for two classes ($70). Thankfully, I have one receipt to know which instructor made that purchase to dispute it with my bank. It is also hard to get in contact with their front desk/customer service. I like solidcore but this incident just turned me off from it. I don’t know if i feel comfortable with making a purchase from them now.
September 25 · nicole jordanThe first group fitness class I run away from! 😂 I’m used to gym group classes (Les Milles), barre3, pure barre, yoga, Pilates, TRX, etc.). Never had an issue and understand the first time can be challenging. BUT always felt supported and helped as a beginner. I recently moved to DC and decided to try this studio nearby. The instructor talked non-stop super fast (think soccer commentator, but no pauses), didn’t care to correct posture or answer questions. The workout felt either super easy or hard with nothing in-between and no way of knowing if I was using the equipment correctly. Overall, a very poor impression of the studio. Beginners beware!
December 02 · Larissa DoroshenkoThe workout itself is fine but Im over the whole “faux-polite-mean-girls” vibe of the staff. It seems they are trying to get you to pay for classes you don’t take - my colleague said she bought two classes and when she went to book was told it “expired”. I bought a buy one get one free but, despite my efforts to draw their attention to a tech issue that meant I couldn’t book, it took them weeks to figure out the problem. By then my second class credit “expired”. Etc.
August 19 · cllacroLove SolidCore! The AdMo crew is friendly and encouraging. I’ve been doing this workout for a year now and it’s still just as challenging as the first day I joined. Don’t be intimidated give it a try!
September 12 · Gina H.Overall everything was great. Good studio facilities, clean, good location, etc. My 3 star review is because the class I attended could be improved so much, I’ve been to other classes where they actually show you and explain the movements at the same time you are doing it but here there was a lack of effort in walking through the reps with us. Also at the end the instructor added so much weight that no one was able to complete the arm reps, that could be harmful and also it breaks the concentration cycle you are into. She could pay more attribution into that and if everyone is struggling be helpful in adjusting the weight that she selected in the first place.
