★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The energy in every class is contagious—these workouts leave me feeling strong and empowered. The trainers are motivating and really know their stuff. If you want to break a sweat and have fun, this is the place.
August 25 · Anna HoffmannI enjoyed my first Rumble class!Atmosphere: As a Philly native, I loved how the decor of the studio tied into defining elements of Philadelphia's culture and history! From the life-size Rocky Balboa statue to wall art that featured the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you can tell how thoughtful Rumble was when designing this space to be both unique and nostalgic. There were plenty of lockers to use and a well-stocked women's locker room that had essentials for post-workout sessions.Workout Session: As my first workout class, I was surprised by how much can be packed into 45 minutes. Our large group rotated between bags and workout benches twice, which allowed us ample time and opportunity to work out different areas of our body. I also liked how the class began by reviewing the 6 different types of punches we would need to know before the class. If you forgot the form of a punch or dumbbell exercise, there were videos on the wall that acted as demonstration guides to keep you on track. I enjoyed this and the music that kept me on tempo with each set.Tips: I brought my own gloves and hand wraps, which allowed me to save some money. If you want to be a regular Rumble guest, I recommend investing in your own equipment to bring with you!
August 19 · Rafiat KasumuI LOVE this studio, and I'm so sad it's closing! The workouts are perfect for me, and I like the mix of boxing and strength conditioning. Kat and Rachel are phenomenal instructors, and I really enjoyed taking classes here over the years!
February 28 · Ashley SchwanebeckThis location shutdown abruptly in March 2025 and I had some unused classes. They said they'd reimburse me with 30 days of the closing date but I'm yet to receive my refund. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. Leaving this review here hoping to get this resolved...
August 12 · Mike WI started my Rumble journey in NYC, frequently attending classes at the Noho location and occasionally visiting the Chelsea studio. After moving to Philly, I was excited to find a Rumble Boxing studio on Walnut Street, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. The studio is immaculate, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the workouts strike the perfect balance between fun, challenging, and accessible. As a 39-year-old father of a two-year-old, attending Rumble has become my way of resetting: I get a great sweat, surround myself with high-energy, diverse, and youthful spirits, stay current with music, and enjoy a space outside my apartment or workplace.Having been to hundreds of group fitness classes and dozens of studios, I can confidently say Rumble is a blue-chip brand. The team here is exceptional, and I greatly appreciate Alyssa, the GM and Head Trainer. She's magnetic, runs a fantastic operation, and creates an environment where everyone feels at home. The instructors bring unique energy and style, making every class feel fresh and exciting.Another highlight is the locker rooms. They are fully stocked, spotless, and equipped with showers--perfect if you're heading somewhere after class. In a city as rich in boxing history as Philly, Rumble represents the sport with a modern, accessible twist. The vibe is electric--like being in a nightclub (minus the drugs and alcohol), with bumping music, dim lighting, and an atmosphere that lets you focus on your own space. The Walnut Street location is also super convenient, and I am proud to bring visitors here whenever they're in town. Rumble has become one of my go-to workouts, and I can't recommend it enough. This is the place to be if you're looking for an engaging, sweat-inducing workout with great people.
