★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don't bother showing up if you don't want MOTIVATION. That's honestly the key thing I got out of my first class. The great work-out was equally impressive, but the vibe is what will win you over. I showed up with 2 girlfriends for our first "all levels women's only" class. Coach made whatever accommodations were needed to keep us all moving while still making the session challenging, fun, and packed with new skills. She was truly motivating and mixed one on one attention with group work. The gym itself is clean, spaced out, with a ton of equipment. We were able to borrow gloves for bag work, too.My only wish is that there was a drop-in rate. I'm excited to return, but have a wedding and events in the next few weeks, so I hesitate to buy a month membership knowing I'll miss some Saturdays.5 out of 5 stars. I walked in intimidated and walked out motivated.
August 17 · Melinda CotterSadly I had to leave the city sooner than expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Pride. Great gym, great people, with an uplifting and motivating sense of community. Nice facilities and the coaches know the sport. Well worth the travel if you're in the area looking for a genuine boxing gym. Thanks Coach Kenny, and hopefully I come back again.
May 31 · Logan GilleoThis place is great! My daughter started here a couple of months ago. Quite the transition from tap and jazz classes.Coach Kenny and the rest of the coaches are terrific! They are tough but fair. There is a strong focus on respect and discipline. What I love most is they expect the same from every student. My 9 y.o. Daughter is expected to put in the same effort as the young boys years older than her. But the whole time they are encouraging to all the students! Thanks to everyone at Pride!
November 28 · Moseley MathesonHad my first class tonight and I feel like Pride is what I’ve been searching for a long time. Affordable pricing, welcoming staff that made me feel very comfortable on my first day. If you need a good workout that’s not boring and basic, Pride is the way to go!
January 10 · sami LamirI'm in my early thirties, and have been boxing at Pride for about 6 months. I've been training off and on for about three years total, training in two other gyms in two different cities. Pride is hands-down the best I've experienced. The facilities are top notch, and the atmosphere is very positive. Most importantly though is the trainer. Coach Kenny is truly a master in his craft and authentically a good man. His sessions are well organized, and he provides the best balance of technical, conditioning, and mentorship I've ever seen in a gym. I've improved more within my 6 months at Pride than my previous years at other gyms combined. I also sincerely enjoy going. Doesn't matter if you are just looking for an intense workout, or a fun competitive hobby, or if you want to be the next headline pro fighter; this place is for you. He has organized his classes in a brilliant manner that pretty well sorts people by their goals and skills. He has an innate ability to modify his own teaching methods, leadership styles, and intensity levels to fit the individuals at hand and maximize confidence and results. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this gym a try, as you won't find anything else like it in this area.
