The members are very friendly to each other, whether one is a regular, longtime member or someone who is just starting their fitness journey. The coaches are excellent at challenging people to reach their full potential and modifying each workout to match each member’s exact needs and physical abilities. I have been a member of several gyms, but PSTS is the gym where I have seen the best results. I can’t imagine not being part of this community.
March 26 · Deb HoeksemaI have been going to PSTS for 4 weeks now. I couldn’t be more pleased! I’m in my late 50’s, and have struggled with many many injuries and surgeries. Prior to 2016, I would run marathons and was a triathlete. Then life took a turn for me, and I couldn’t walk, let alone run. I had to stop all physical activity. I gained weight and was frustrated, tired and depressed. My husband and I joined the YMCA, and I would go when he went. I wasn’t motivated at all, so I just stopped. I have a recumbent bike and treadmill at home, and I would ride/walk, but again, lost motivation. One day while scrolling on social media, an add popped up for PSTS. I thought to myself, “Great, another program”………After seeing it again, I said “Why not check it out”. What attracted me is that they offered programs for older adults. The pictures shown were REAL people with REAL goals that looked like me. When I went for my information meeting, I immediately felt welcomed. A little overwhelmed, but willing to give it a try. I started with 2 sessions a week, and am now signed up for 3 sessions per week.Let me tell you why I am still going. Its motivating!! I am always greeted with a smile, and I genuinely feel as though all the trainers are invested in me. I have never done strength training, and honestly never thought I could. But, I can AND I am! I feel better and I’m getting stronger with every session. I’m making friends with common goals of getting AND staying healthy. The power strength training was totally out of my comfort zone, but now I look forward to going. Every single trainer is amazing and ensures I understand what and why I am doing at each session. They push me to do better! They know and recognize every member and high five and/or fist pump all of us. Like I said before, they are invested in all the members, to help us meet our personal goals of getting and staying healthy. I feel great!! I can’t wait to see my improvements next month, and every month after. I’m thankful every day for that one specific ad I looked at with PSTS.

The coaches, though, have been great at helping me progress from wherever I was at, adjusting as needed for the quirks of getting older.
