What Is Worth Choosing
In the crowded New York fitness market, choosing the right studio can be a daunting task. PilatesWorks stands out as a top-tier choice for several compelling reasons. The most significant factor is the studio's long-standing reputation and the quality of its instructors. With many clients having been with the studio for six or more years, it's clear that PilatesWorks delivers a consistent and high-quality experience that builds lasting relationships. The praise for instructors like Daniel, who are described as "knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and supportive," highlights the personalized and caring approach that defines the studio. This level of dedication from the trainers is what makes a class not just a workout, but a "thoughtful, methodical, and fun" experience that leaves you feeling stronger and more empowered.
Furthermore, the studio's specialized focus on Pilates, complemented by a range of classes and private sessions, makes it an ideal place for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. The use of high-quality equipment ensures that you are training with the best tools available, which is crucial for achieving proper form and maximizing results. Unlike large, impersonal gyms, PilatesWorks provides a focused environment where you can truly concentrate on your practice and get the full attention of your trainer. The option for duet and trio sessions also provides a cost-effective way to get a more personalized experience without the full commitment of a private lesson.
Finally, the strong sense of community at PilatesWorks is a major reason for its success. The studio has a dedicated following and a friendly atmosphere, which makes it a welcoming place to be. As one client happily stated, "We're lucky to have this studio in the neighborhood!" This feeling of belonging is invaluable in a big city like New York and provides the motivation and encouragement needed to stay consistent with your fitness goals. For anyone in Long Island City or the wider New York area seeking a professional, expert-led, and community-driven studio to improve their physical and mental well-being, PilatesWorks is an exceptional and highly recommended choice.

June 07 · Cristina CalvarI’ve come here for many years now, and try to squeeze in a weekly reformer class. Daniel and co are knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and supportive. We’re lucky to have this studio in the neighborhood!
May 25 · Liz BloomfieldLove this studio and all of the instructors. I was new to pilates reformer and chair and had no problem transitioning into the group classes after two private lessons. The instructors are so knowledgeable and helpful, they provide individual assistance even in a busy group session. The class size is also capped so they can continue to provide that attention. Several different class and time options. I highly recommend!!!
December 08 · Hiliary LeneweaverI’m new to reformer Pilates but been shopping around different studios around the area. I love Daniel’s class. He gives such clear instructions with adjustment with care. He makes sure the students alignment is correct and his experience shows through in his class sequence. Highly recommend
April 23 · Crystal JowpersonI have been practicing pilates for many years now, and without a doubt, PilatesWorks is the best studio I have been to. All the instructors are knowledgeable and know how to modify for different levels. The group classes are small so instructors are able to engage with each student and provide quick adjustments. All of the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. The studio is bright and clean and the machines are well-maintained. I generally workout in the morning so I appreciate that they have added a full line-up of morning sessions. The group class schedule alternates between tower, reformer, jumpboard etc. so you get a variety of exercises and movements and never get bored. I highly recommend Daniel’s class – he’s hysterical and will wake you up at 7AM.
