The studio’s unique charm and atmosphere are a major draw for its loyal following. As one reviewer so beautifully put it, the studio is a "gem" with the "perfect touches of rustic and yogi that it makes you forget where you are." The circle window is described as being "like a portal to your soul," a testament to the peaceful and introspective environment that the owners have cultivated. This focus on creating a deeply personal and soul-nourishing space is what transforms a yoga class from a simple workout into a truly "life-altering experience." The personal touch of the owners, like having a mat ready for a student coming straight from work, speaks volumes about their dedication to the members' experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a gem! I took a class lead by Shelly on Sunday morning and wow, I was so moved and felt such a sense of calm leaving today. The studio is beautiful, the perfect touches of rustic and yogi that it makes you forget where you are. The circle window is so beautiful it's like a portal to your soul.I did struggle to find the studio within the building but was lead by other students. It's the second brick building all the way down the path and it's door is on the right. You go up some steep stairs and you are in an oasis. Parking is close by.If you are looking for something good for your soul and self please take a class here.
July 13 · Monica MurryWent last night for the first time and it was wonderful, I called to ask if she has extra yoga mats because I’m coming straight from work. She has the mat laid out for me by the time I got there, it was such a relaxing environment. Just make sure to head there early because it is a little confusing to find. I will definitely come back!
November 09 · Khanhly TI love Middle River Yoga! It’s a unique class each week, which I haven’t found in other studios in the past. Shelly asks what we want to work on, and tailors the class to that. It’s a beautiful studio, with wonderful wood floors and a lovely window out onto the river, and friendly lighting during class. I am unafraid to fail in this class as people go at their own pace and do what they can. The pricing is extremely reasonable, and they have classes every day so I was able to find a time that worked for my schedule. Every Wednesday I get a wonderful sense of calm and relief from muscle tension after yoga with Shelly! Thank you!
December 08 · Amy MartinMiddle River Yoga is a great studio! I moved from out of town and was grateful to find such a warm, welcoming yoga studio to practice at. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and made me feel very welcome and supported. There are a good variety of classes gentle to a bit more challenging as well as restorative yoga. The studio is a large space overlooking the river that easily invites relaxation! Thank you for helping me continue my love for yoga 💜💜
March 06 · BethI totally love this studio, space, and Shelly! I have been practicing yoga all over the US and in a couple countries for the past 22 years. And I always come home to Middle River yoga and Shelly. She just has a way of knowing what everyone's body needs and every class is different. She has the passion, and dedication to be an amazing human being and phenomenal yoga teacher. One of my favorite sayings from her is "Trust your body, it knows" powerful! I always leave her classes smiling both emotionally and physically. You owe it to yourself to experience this for yourself and please sit by the round lower window overlooking the river. 🙏🧘♀️🧘♂️💖
