Choosing LA Fitness in Round Lake Beach is worthwhile for the Illinois user seeking maximum value and variety in their fitness experience. This gym is best suited for individuals or families who desire a holistic approach to fitness that extends beyond the traditional weight room. The large, varied selection of equipment alone is a significant draw, accommodating different training styles and preferences, including free weights and a robust cardio section.

However, prospective members in Illinois should be fully aware of the membership structure, which requires a commitment and includes a potentially complex cancellation process. It is strongly advised to thoroughly review the membership agreement, particularly the terms regarding cancellation, as some customers have reported difficulties and delays requiring in-person visits during specific managerial hours. June 24 · Abe BarreraLA fitness concept is to make it so difficult for you to cancel that you end up paying money month after month. Even if they shut down a center near your hometown, they make you drive to another location to cancel in person. When you get there their excuse is that it has to be done with the manager, the manager often is not in, so you have to inconveniently work around his limited schedule. Be warned, the manager is only there between fixed hours, no weekends, takes lunch breaks at unconfirmed times. By the time you can cancel after 3 attempts to go there and a manager is not available, when you cancel you have to present an ID even though they have your pic on the app. The cancellation is like a one month prepaid. They have the worst service there. Also don’t think they pay their employees very well. And employees do not get to use the facilities without a membership. Don’t know why they’re still around. But eventually everyone will get tired of it and word will get around. Be warned!
June 13 · Sothea NhemGreat facility, very spacious, the staff is great! I have been working private lessons with the trainer Nick and he is extremely helpful with lots of great information. Highly recommend to anyone in search of a great gym and a great staff/trainer.
August 15 · Felicia MartinezTHE KID ZONE IS DANGEROUS! Gym is decent, never felt the need to voice anything good or bad really. Other than the terrible front desk staff who do not seem to do their job, as I think 3 times in the past 6 months has someone said hi when coming in lol). But I do want to voice if you leave your children in the “kid zone” be very careful. My younger two go in there and when they do I try to be as quick as possible as I have seen how out of control that kid zone is being the adults in there who get paid to keep the kids safe do not do that. My son who is older stated that one kid kept walking up and hurting people’s babies, and when I walked in there were kids on top of the big tree structure. When I told the front desk lady she laughed and said yea. I went into the gym and told the bald shorter male who when I asked is there a manager he said yea so I expressed my concerns and he did not care just said he would tell someone else about it. But nothing done about it as next time I came with kids same stuff. So if leaving kids please be-careful especially if younger. And if sending your older ones teach them how to behave other children who have been taught to behave are appalled watching your children act like that do not have an ounce of respect for others of themselves
June 13 · Tessia MilkieThe locker rooms are disgusting. Who puts carpet in a lockeroom? The smell is awful. Most of the dumbbells and equipment are rusted, and everything feels neglected. It’s worth it to make the extra 25-minute drive to Mundelein location. This place needs gutted and remodeled or shut down.
