Services Offered
Knotty Yoga specializes in a unique style of practice that blends traditional yoga principles with intense strength and conditioning. While the core of their offerings is in-person classes, the approach is anything but ordinary.
Mason’s Training Classes: The primary services revolve around the instructor Mason's "Beginner and Intermediate Training classes." These are described as a "yoga boot-camp" where participants utilize strips of fabric from the ceiling to enhance their workout. This is a variation of Aerial Yoga, but with a focus on rigorous training. Classes are offered in different lengths, including 30-minute beginner classes and hour-long intermediate sessions, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
Physical Skill Development: Beyond standard yoga poses, the classes incorporate a variety of physical skills. Customers have reported gaining new abilities such as rope climbing and "acro." This suggests a curriculum that is both varied and focused on functional strength and skill.
Beginner and Intermediate Levels: The classes are structured to accommodate different levels of fitness and experience. The instructor adapts classes and guidance to individual capabilities, making a seemingly intimidating workout manageable and progressively challenging. The existence of beginner classes ensures that even those new to this demanding style have a starting point.

Knotty Yoga Reviews
What's the point of a workout where everything is easy? These workouts are hard in the best way possible.I've been going since November 2012, and I love it. I call it more of a "yoga boot-camp". Its a riff on Aerial Yoga, in that you use strips of fabric from the ceiling to enhance your workout. They do offer "fabric classes", but I've never done those. I'm talking about Mason's Beginner and Intermediate Training classes.I've had to work up to the intermediate hour classes (there are 30 minute beginner classes several nights a week), and I'm glad I did. At 6'5" and 265 lbs, I'm sore after each workout and inspired by what I accomplished compared to my previous visits. I feel it should be noted that these classes are not for the faint of heart, nor the easily discouraged. The simple fact is that for 90% of you? You will NOT be able to achieve half the exercises your first time here.
February 07 · Patrick DonoghueMid 40's and more fit than I've been in my life -- strength, body tone, and flexibility -- thanks to Knotty Yoga. I have great results attending only 2 or 3 hour-long classes each week, and have gained new physical skills that I never thought I could, e.g. rope climbing, acro, stretching, fabric, etc.Mason's a great instructor, thoroughly trained in fitness and massage, adapts classes and guidance to everyone's individual capabilities, and makes them fun and social.Classes are fast paced, varied, and strenuous, but not intensely tough or competitive. You'll get to know other regular attendees (aged 20s thru 50s), and have fun encouraging each other as you swiftly improve.
July 17 · Keith LaeppleDO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!!!I love aerial silks and was looking for a place that would focus more on the acrobatics than yoga. I posted questions on several facebook pages....Knotty was the only one that didn't reply. I should have taken that as a big hint! Instead I went to their weekend introduction event and bought an unlimited membership for $120. Two days later I was in a car accident.Look up at the business contact information. What don't you see? A phone number. No, Knotty has no phone number. Instead, to contact the studio you have to send email and place posts on their facebook page. I did so for over 2 weeks. I requested a refund as I am clearly not going to be able to use the membership.Mason never bothered to reply. Today I went in person to get my money back (for several reasons now), but Mason was more focused on how smooth he was to block me after my last post and report me to Facebook for using the word "s**t." He knew my name. Knew why I was there. Knew how long I have been trying to reach him. Had no intention of ever contacting me.There are times in life when you look at people and just wonder how they ever survive day to day. When I had to tell him that perhaps he might consider it a little more important to actually respond to his customers he just seemed confused. He then informed me that he doesn't give refunds and that he will keep the membership until I have healed up.Even if I wanted to pursue a professional relationship with him on any level, I suspect it would be difficult to say the least. As it stands I won't be in the area after one month when my contract is up - a fact I covered multiple times when I bought the membership. I will now have to pursue my refund through my bank because Mason thinks he is entitled to my money after providing less than no service. Not very Zen, is it?
