HOTWORX - Bloomingdale, IL Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For individuals and busy professionals across Illinois seeking a fitness solution that is both highly effective and time-efficient, HOTWORX - Bloomingdale, IL, presents a revolutionary concept. Located conveniently in the Chicago suburbs, this facility is not a traditional gym but a specialized fitness center that integrates patented infrared sauna technology directly into its workout routine. This method, which the company calls '3D Training'—a powerful combination of heat, infrared energy, and exercise—is designed to deliver "more workout in less time."
The core of the HOTWORX experience involves performing virtually instructed, short-duration workouts inside a dedicated infrared sauna, often heated to around 125 degrees Fahrenheit. This intense, yet low-impact, environment significantly accelerates calorie burn, promotes detoxification through heavy sweating, and is reported to aid in muscle recovery. The studio operates on a 24/7 access model, which is a major advantage for Illinois residents navigating demanding or non-traditional work schedules, ensuring a high-quality workout is always available, day or night.
The studio offers two main types of sessions: 30-minute isometric workouts (like Hot Yoga and Hot Pilates) and 15-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sessions (like Hot Cycle or Hot Blast). This structure makes it incredibly easy to fit an entire workout into a lunch break or a tight slot in the evening. Furthermore, the Bloomingdale studio has earned praise from local members for its exceptional cleanliness, the consistent high quality of the hot rooms, and a genuinely supportive staff and management team who create an encouraging, results-driven atmosphere.
Location and Accessibility
HOTWORX - Bloomingdale, IL is ideally situated at 146 Gary Ave Suite 101B, Bloomingdale, IL 60108, USA. The facility is conveniently located within the Stratford Crossing shopping center, near the corner of Gary Ave and Schick Rd, which is a highly accessible and prominent retail location in the area. This prime placement near major retailers like Mariano's makes it an easy stop for local users before or after running errands.
The studio demonstrates its commitment to serving the entire Illinois community with excellent physical accessibility features. It provides a Wheelchair accessible entrance, a dedicated Wheelchair accessible parking lot, and a Wheelchair accessible restroom. In addition to a clean, well-maintained Restroom, the facility offers a core amenity in its specialized sauna rooms. Membership is required to access the services, and the facility makes payments easy, accepting all major Credit cards, Debit cards, and modern NFC mobile payments for a seamless, cashless transaction process. The commitment to a professional, clean environment is a key highlight frequently noted by satisfied local members.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Best gym, best staff!! I have not been to a nicer gym, the level of attention by the manager Nate is awesome, he is always there to be helpful to my mom when she wants to set up her classes on the app, the rooms are always very clean, very hot, and the machines always working! All the staff is great, there's fitness challenges monthly that make it all the more exciting and motivating! Wish i could give more stars!
September 04 · Daya DoradoStarted working out for the first time in 10 years last October. After 4 babies and not being in the gym, I was intimated to commit to anything. Nate, Alexis, and the team helped me feel at ease taking on a new routine. I felt challenged and encouraged to continue being consistent! I’ve loved the results I’m seeing. 10/10 recommend.
July 07 · Kylie ChrismondI have found that I have quickly become addicted to the Hotworx workouts. I’ve never been one to get up early to go to the gym no matter how much I tried. I’m up and ready for my early morning workouts here. I’m also getting better workouts and feeling the “burn” better than I ever have at the gym. I had my hip replaced 6 months ago and have had difficulty with getting feeling back. In the two weeks I’ve been attending Hotworx, my feeling has come back more than it did total in the last 6 months! The people that work there are great! Love the energy! I have nothing but great things to say!
July 06 · Andrea MyetteThis review is coming from someone who worked at a gym for several years, has done personal training annually, worked with nutritionists, has gone to several different gyms across Florida and the US. I workout 5x a week, doing calisthenics, strength training, and cardio.1.HOTWORX should not be your only form of fitness. As someone who is athletic and was looking for a new program to try, I felt that HOTWORX does not have any effect on my physical or functional progress or performance outside of inside the gym. And I would do back to back sessions at near max temperature. Most gyms have a dry sauna anyways, which is perfect to just relax in for 30 minutes after any workout a few times a week. And I tried every single class at HOTWORx consistently for a while when I first joined.2. They are incredibly expensive for a gym that also requires you to buy your own HOTWORX mat and towel. Then on top of that, expect a 100$ cancellation fee or you have to continue paying for months, knowing you won't be able to go in. While other places typically have a few of 25-35$.3. As mentioned, it shouldn't be your only form of fitness and if we are paying for both HOTWORX and another gym membership, you'll be paying nearly 100$ a month. Majority of it going to HOTWORX and it's not effective. This place is not worth your time, energy and money. You're better off doing basic strength training, Pilates classes, or group training at the bigger or even smaller, locally owned gyms and then hopping in the sauna after working out.
March 12 · Alexia PaigeHotWorx is a great workout environment! The saunas give you the best sweat and you have access to the weights too! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and always there to help. I would highly recommend getting a HotWorx membership!
