★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The gym is in a good location but it’s a bad spot. I’ve been a member of Grind for a year now so I can give an honest review of the gym. Because the gym has windows on all sides the radiant heat from the sun makes the gym super hot, especially during the summer. All of the equipment is old and not very well maintained. The bathroom is horrendous. The men’s room smells of urine and gnats are often seen flying around the urinal. If the equipment makes noise during normal business hours they will harass you and say that you’re distrusting the other businesses beneath them.Overall, the gym is laid back but has few of the amenities that are on its website. The basketball court is old and water damaged. It’s also being used to store exercise bikes and has other equipment in that space. Once again the location is good but there is little to no street parking .You can always choose the option to pay to park in the parking garage. The staff isn’t very helpful and lack good customer service. It’s never overcrowded so you may be able to get a decent workout.
July 09 · Brian WoodleyAwesome place to workout in downtown Baltimore! Great views, plenty of weight and a very unique experience. Worked out here on a week pass while I was in town and was very impressed with how cool it was being in an old power plant. Would definitely return if I came back to Baltimore!
November 09 · Ryan McKenzieTop-notch gym in Downtown Baltimore.I regularly travel for work and this place has great equipment and PLENTY of it too. There’s so much to do and each time I’ve been (all at different points in the day) it’s been pretty close to empty.Locker room - some towels available - and a sauna. Nothing fussy at all - just a great, large gym for a good workout.Tricky to get in the first time. I’d suggest buying your pass then having security let you up.
August 19 · Jakob W. PlummerAbsolutely amazing gym, old school vibes with a modern touch. The staff is so kind and helpful as well. 10/10 experience, loved this gym and the people! Highly recommend
July 25 · Azaz UmarI visited this place for the first time today and I was really impressed! The equipment is top-notch, it wasn't too crowded, and the views were fantastic. I actually signed up for a membership right away because I'm so excited to have this as my new fitness hangout. Can't wait to start working on improving my fitness here! 🏋️♂️💪
