FR3RUNNING Society - Culver City Introduce
In the heart of Los Angeles, a unique fitness space is dedicated to the art of movement, confidence-building, and community. FR3RUNNING Society - Culver City is not your typical gym; it's a dynamic training facility specializing in parkour, free running, and martial arts. Designed to be a fun and engaging environment for both children and adults, it’s a place where physical challenges are a source of joy and personal growth. The philosophy here is deeply rooted in fostering a sense of family and belonging, creating a safe and encouraging space where individuals can learn to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and develop a love for movement. The gym's approach, led by its incredible team, is about more than just physical exercise; it's about helping people, particularly kids, build courage and confidence. As one parent noted, their son "overcame fears of falling and built his confidence and courage" in just one session. This overview will walk you through what makes FR3RUNNING Society a truly special place in the Southern California fitness scene, from its inclusive atmosphere and wide range of services to its dedicated coaching staff and community focus.
At the core of FR3RUNNING Society’s mission is the belief that movement is a fundamental human activity that should be celebrated. The space, as described by a parent, is "clean and beautiful," and while kids are encouraged to be active, they also practice "respect and empathy." This balance of high-energy fun and disciplined learning is a hallmark of the gym’s culture. The founder, Christian Mayo, and the entire team are seen as mentors who know what each child needs to work on, making every session personalized and effective. The reviews speak volumes about the quality of the teaching, with one parent stating they "seriously can’t say enough about the quality of teaching at this place." The gym is a place where kids can "sweat and learn at the same time," all while feeling a part of a supportive "family." This strong sense of community extends to adults as well, creating a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for everyone, regardless of their skill level or prior experience. The focus on fun and engagement makes the challenging world of parkour accessible and exciting for all who walk through the doors.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fr3running was so great! I haven’t had any parkour or free running experience but decided to try bringing my 3yo son since he loves climbing and jumping (have to show him there are places outside of our home)Aside of physical benefits of building his strength and coordination, just one session helped him overcome fears of falling and built his confidence and courage. Thanks so much Christian - you’re so talented and incredible with kids and made all of these obstacles seem more fun than it looked to my 3yo son.
June 26 · Lillian YangIf you have a child who loves to run, jump, have fun, and if you want that child to grow, be challenged, build resilience, meet incredible mentors, and make great friends, make your way over to Fr3running Society. We have two children there, and it’s their favorite place on earth. Christian Mayo has created a space that feels like family. He’s the dad who knows every kid and knows what each needs to work on. The space is clean and beautiful. Kids aren’t told to be quiet here (although they will practice respect and empathy). I seriously can’t say enough about the quality of teaching at this place- and it’s all fun. Your kids will sweat and learn at the same time. We are so thankful to have Coach Mayo in our lives! You will not regret sending your kids to Fr3Running Society. It’s an incredibly special place.
August 04 · Jillian BachmanWe’ve had a great experience at this gym. I’ve seen my son’s confidence grow week by week—trying new moves, jumping higher, and truly believing in himself.Christian strikes the perfect balance: always watchful, but giving my son space to feel independent. It’s been amazing to watch him grow, both physically and emotionally. Highly recommend!
