She is so knowledgable, she knows how to explain the movements well and she listens to my body. Post each session, I feel my body has reset which has been so crucial as I recover from pregnancy/delivery but also the toll that raising a baby takes on ones mental and physical being.Kate is extremely warm and filled with positive energy. December 02 · Yara HattabWhen I “graduated” from Physical Therapy for a spinal stenosis issue, I was lucky enough to find Kirsten, owner of Explore Movement, to continue my rehabilitation. Kirsten has been using a combination of Gyrotonics, Pilates and Postural Restoration to promote my balanced movement, increase my range of motion and improve my strength and flexibility. She also uses breath work to engage the parasympathetic nervous system to promote a stronger mind-muscle connection to reduce the likelihood of future injuries.Although the exercises that she uses in her well-equipped facility seem very mild, the result is very powerful. I am now able to play 18 holes of golf, usually walking with a push cart, and can stand for longer periods of time without any discomfort. I have been a weekly client for nearly a year and will continue to use Explore Movement on a regular basis to insure that I can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle despite my age and unique body imbalances.

Kirsten was so knowledgeable, in tune with our bodies helping with small tweaks in movements and our bodies felt like they were on a whole other frequency leaving the studio. I was hooked. I’ve been going there every week for almost a year now and I have gotten stronger, recruited more friends because I believe in Kirsten and her program and look forward to going every week.
