Easton Gym Co, located on the iconic Beverly Boulevard, has long held a reputation as a classic, no-nonsense fitness destination. It is a place that understands that a great workout doesn't require flashy trends or overly crowded spaces. As one satisfied member aptly puts it, this is a very old-school gym, but in all the best ways. It's a place where the focus is squarely on providing the tools and space you need to achieve your fitness goals, free from the distractions and pressures that can often come with larger, more commercial fitness centers. The atmosphere is one of hard work and genuine dedication, creating a welcoming environment for a diverse range of individuals, from seasoned weightlifters to those just beginning their fitness journey. This commitment to a straightforward, effective approach is a key part of the gym’s appeal. It’s a space where you can focus on your personal best, whether you’re lifting weights, engaging in a functional fitness routine, or finding your center in a yoga class. The staff is described as very nice and helpful, adding to the supportive and friendly vibe that makes every visit a positive experience. With a fair monthly membership fee of just $89, Easton Gym Co stands out as an exceptional value, especially when compared to other high-end gyms in the area that may charge a premium without offering the same foundational amenities or a genuine community feel. This combination of a classic atmosphere, comprehensive facilities, and an accessible price point makes it an ideal choice for anyone in Los Angeles looking for a gym that prioritizes results over frills.

The gym is designed to provide a "no bs" experience, focusing on the essentials of fitness. It’s a place for serious training, but in a supportive and community-oriented setting. Another major highlight, and a key differentiator in the Los Angeles market, is the excellent sauna. This amenity is a highly valued offering, with one member even choosing Easton Gym Co over a competitor that was four times the price simply because of the quality of the sauna. The presence of a good sauna provides an invaluable post-workout recovery tool, helping with muscle relaxation, detoxification, and overall well-being. This thoughtful inclusion of a premium amenity at an accessible price point underscores the gym's commitment to providing a holistic fitness experience. The gym’s atmosphere, described as having a "nice vibe," is also a reflection of its focus on providing a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone. While every gym has its unique quirks, Easton Gym Co’s straightforward approach and dedication to fundamental fitness principles resonate with a wide variety of people, creating a loyal and dedicated membership base who appreciate its authentic character. It is a place where you can truly clear your head and focus on your physical and mental health without the noise and distractions of the outside world, creating a sanctuary for self-improvement and well-being.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a very old school gym, but in a good way. No bs, just a lot of workout machines and a lot of space and it never feels super or overly crowded when I go. The staff is very nice and helpful and this is one of the few gyms in LA that has a good sauna. I was amazed that Equinox, which is like four times the price didn’t have a sauna and that’s why I ended up choosing to gym here.
April 07 · AdammNew member. It's $89 a month. Nice vibe and location. I didn't find the staff particularly motivated. There's a sign in the cardio room that says "no cell phones" but a girl conversed loudly on her's while walking the treadmill the entire time I was there.I try to imagine if I worked there, and I walked the cardio room for a minute to clean up or see how it's going and I noticed that all 6 tvs were on CNN. I'd probably say to myself, "people are here to try to get in shape. People are here to try to clear their head and have a better mental outlook. In what capacity do I think, as an employee, that it's an intelligent assessment and decision to leave 6 CNNs on all day broadcasting the worst of everything?" They don't really take it upon themselves to do anything. This is a conversation that on the surface seems petty, but when you dig deeper you really see how pathetic it is. Put on a nature show, put on cartoons, put on a comedy, put on ESPN, there's a million things you can do. You can turn them all OFF. Who puts all six TVs on the same channel anywhere, for anything?
June 23 · Allmy StuffWhat a joke of a gym. Machines are garbage (1st gen - terrible range of motion and dangerous). Weights are super old. Free weight benches are bolted down and mess your back up. Leg press has no safety stop - your life depends on 2 small welded hooks. Cable machine weights stick together and cables constantly go off the track. The list is endless. The place looks and feels like a dumping ground for gyms that throw away their old/broken equipment.Special treatment during the summer: NO A/C!Don’t be fooled by the high ratings. Great gym to injure yourself and get yelled at if you lift anything heavy.
July 17 · Adrian B.Awesome gym I found in that area, best combo of being both never too full and not overpriced and always has free parking. Has awesome roof where you can exercise in the sun, hit the punching bag, or do yoga with a class. Downstairs always has windows open all year so the entire gym is well ventilated and breezy. Equipment is older and it feels like you’re stepping into a historical gym. There are pictures of famous actors that worked out there. On another floor below there is a locker room and sauna where there is free hair gel, lotion, etc. Lastly, most of the people who go there are really fit so it’s quite motivational and gets you to work harder.
May 01 · Thiago OliveiraI am a long-time member of Easton Gym (since 2013!) and have come to know the community quite well. Easton is a gem in Los Angeles and the place where I was able to transform my fitness alongside some of the most knowledgable staff and trainers in the city. Easton's owner Toby and his passionate staff have facilitated a respectful and supportive community over a long period of time where all bodies are welcome, member input is prioritized, and most importantly, re-racking your weights and putting shit back where you found it is the norm! Working out at Easton feels like being part of a long tradition in Los Angeles. Even though the equipment isn't as new or exciting as other places and "it doesn't have air conditioning!" as everyone LOVES to say, nothing beats working out within Easton's beautiful brick walls, amongst vintage windows that catch a refreshing cross-breeze and dumbbells that look like they were carried by strong men in the 1940's. Easton rarely gets frustratingly crowded, and its members overall are simply RESPECTFUL, relaxed, authentic, and make this the type of business you can only find in Los Angeles. I love Easton gym!
