Jamaica Avenue is a major thoroughfare for both buses and trains, making it a convenient stop from various parts of Queens and Brooklyn. The gym is also a practical destination for those who drive, though as always in NYC, it's important to be mindful of street parking and the potential for a busy area. The prominent location on a main road ensures that it's easy to find and get to, no matter how you travel.
One of the most notable features mentioned by members is the gym's accessibility. A key highlight is that it is open 24 hours a day. For a person who is "serious about lifting," as one reviewer put it, this gym provides all the necessary tools without any of the distractions. The extensive selection of equipment means you'll never feel limited in your workout, and the fact that you can work out at "24 hours" gives you the freedom to train on your own terms. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Love this gym. Been here for 3 months and I can confidently say the night shift staff are phenomenal, great atmosphere, and there’s plenty of equipment. The gym is pretty old school but I think it adds to the atmosphere. Only downside is it’s a bit dusty here and there. Still definitely recommend if you’re serious about lifting.
August 22 · DracoNice place to workout, has a lot of machines and some new ones added. Dont expect this place to be your casual gym franchise. The place is gritty, and you go get your workout done. I love it because it is 24 hours. My only complaint is I could never find the cleaning liquids to wipe down the machines. Either someone is hogging it, or none can be found, or you have to ask the front desk. Small price to pay for the gains i will make other than that, I love this gym. I joined it because it was 24 hours and I could go work out when it's not packed.
July 15 · Mahendra PrashadSolid gym for those that wish to take it serious. Wide range of machines and a unique atmosphere unlike your local franchises. Big thanks to Shameer for making the joining process smooth and providing excellent customer service. Being open 24 hours as well truly is a huge plus
August 07 · Rudy RAmazing gym. Came here before the pandemic and recently started up again. Very kind staff and owners. Almost never have to wait for anything due to the sheer amount of equipment available to use.Has "hardcore" gym aesthetic going on but people of all levels train here with no issues. Do not be intimidated!Only downside is cleanliness, spray bottles for cleaning equipment are hard to locate and the bathroom is gross sometimes.
May 01 · Gabriel PoulardMy visit was on 07/26/25 around 8pm. This place has alot of potential. Very spacious with a certain gritty training vibe that has gone missing in allot of gyms. If all you want to do is lift things up and put them down, this place is it. However there's limited cardio, there's two row machines but one was "out of order" and the other strap was missing on left foot and the menu didn't work. I get all these rules for my visit and in 5 minutes there's infractions. People working out shirtless and no shoes. The place smells. There's bars that are locked up. It wasn't even packed and all the lockers were taken. The vents in the bathroom are literally caked in dust. The shower head has dust on top. A little reorganization and cleanliness would go long way. If you need to workout in a pinch this place is open 24 hours but I'll be looking elsewhere
