But I’m very critical when it comes to safety and clear instructions even in a 1.5 class. My head was hanging off the box when it should have been supported. She rushes through some positions where the correct position is critical. My straps were not right, one got hung up on the post. She walked right by me as I was struggling. She counts so fast you don’t have time to complete full range of exercises. She seems knowledgeable and a very nice person, just may be reminded to watch her students and the old saying “talk to everyone as if they were a 4 year old” so you clearly know what she’s saying and instructing. Good luck Alana you can do it.

July 21 · Lauren RouthPetra’s instructions can be confusing ant times especially if you are new to Pilates and the machine like myself. Rather than explaining things more clearly when people are confused or showing you how to do it correctly she’ll speak louder to you or will simply pass you up without showing you, or will say look at your neighbor. Being my first class this made me not want to take another class with her, pretty discouraging. Will try another instructor and hope it gets better. My intro class was with Ellina and she was amazing.
