I met Rod back in November 2019 while searching for a coach that could help complement my cycling workouts with off bike training. At the time, my only goal was to get faster in my uphill time trialing. I was initially drawn to Rod’s unique perspective on fitness given his background as a cyclist.Coach Rod quickly delivered on my initial goals & needs; however, it was the side benefits that really improved the quality of my life. For instance, I spend a lot of time driving, often 4 + hours in the car. I used to get a pain in my right hip after about 3 hours or so. After 3 months of working with Rod, the pain in my hip has virtually disappeared. Furthermore, I feel like the clock has been turned back by 10 years with respect to my skiing. I am a life-long skier and typically rack up 40+ days a season, the fatigue free days and greater range of motion are very welcome side effects. It is with hindsight that I realize the perfect name that Rod has given his business; “Body4Life”.Working one-on-one with Rod has been a pleasure, he takes great care to build workout plans that are specific to my needs and my schedule. He knows what exercises I need to do, how often to do them and what the next progression should be. He takes the guess work out of my fitness.
