★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am very happy with this gym, they seem to have the same workout equipment as Crunch and are much cheaper. I have been told that United Health Care will cover its member's gym membership cost at all of the Blink locations provided that you have a qualifying health plan with them. The Blink location is listed as 5 Bryant Park, but it is physically located on West 40th Street, just off the corner of 6th Avenue. The gym's small painted location sign on the building wall is not easy to spot because it is higher than you would expect such a sign to be at. Easier to spot than Blink's building sign is the one pictured below belonging to the Little Beet restaurant, which is very near Blink.
July 17 · Harvey MessingOutstanding management with very professional trainers and the best affordable prices. Cho, Yeunjae gave me a-30 minutes free session and was amazing, very smart and knowledgeable. A lot of cardio machines and space for workout. All staff are helpful and friendly. You have to bring a lock if you will use the locker. I highly recommend them.
May 07 · Iman AHOT & MUGGY!!!Management at this branch has cosistantly avoided upgrading or fixing the cooling system other than putting up 4 commercial pedestal fans on workout floor and respond to posts that it will be addressed..Not looking forward to another brutal summer at this branch with AC ducts leaking down into buckets and no Grand Central or prior to that closing Penn Station options. Beware to those looking for a new gym it gets Very crowded (due to recent bankruptcy/new ownership, and consolidation of other local branches). And remains hot, leaky and muggy at this location! Still not a deal breaker for the budget price and location but definitely not pleasant May through late september.
May 09 · travis hashWent to redeem a free trail as I wanted to see if the reviews were as bad as they suggested before moving further. My voucher was valid until 9/1. (US dates) 8/25 I get told sorry we don’t do that anymore. And that regardless of my voucher exp date I cannot redeem it. “So I’ve basically wasted my time coming here and you won’t allow me access?” “ Yes”…. Zero help zero customer service Zero care. Blink you have lost a potential customer… and if I am one of many, management better take note and improve the training of your staff
August 25 · Grant “Guv” SmithAlways hot! Agree with the comments, muggy and smells. Women’s bathroom stalls always filthy. The gym is so crowded I’m assuming because of the area, but it’s too small to be able to accommodate everyone. Constantly waiting for a machine, never get to use the equipment I’d like because there’s one or 2 of each. If you’re a woman good luck using the weights. Men take over that section everywhere. Everyone is spread out next to machines because there just isn’t enough room. Definitely weigh your options before signing up. This unfortunately was the only one that worked for me.
