Barry's TriBeCa is located at a prime downtown address: 1 York St, New York, NY 10013, USA. Its location is highly convenient for anyone in the TriBeCa, SoHo, or Financial District areas. One of its most significant advantages is its accessibility via New York City's extensive subway system. The studio is just a short walk from several major subway stations, including the Canal Street station, which serves the A, C, E, N, Q, R, and W trains, as well as the Franklin Street station on the 1 train. This makes it a perfect destination for commuters and residents alike.

The studio’s position near the Holland Tunnel exit also makes it a straightforward stop for those coming from outside of Manhattan.
Barry's offers a singular but highly effective service model built around its signature workout.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT): The core of the Barry's experience is the 50-minute class that alternates between treadmill running and strength training on the floor. This method is designed to maximize calorie burn and build lean muscle.
Daily Muscle Focus: The workout schedule is thoughtfully designed to focus on different muscle groups each day of the week. This allows for proper recovery and a balanced routine. For instance, the schedule often includes specific days for Arms & Abs, Full Body (Lower Focus), Chest, Back & Abs, Abs & Ass, and Total Body.
Double Floor (DF) Classes: For those who prefer not to run, or who are recovering from an injury, a "Double Floor" option is available. This allows participants to focus solely on the strength training portion of the class, offering a powerful workout without the cardio element.
Personalized Coaching: While a group class, the instructors provide clear guidance and modifications. They give speed ranges for the treadmill and demonstrate exercises on the floor, allowing participants to adjust the workout to their own fitness level and physical needs.
Online Classes (Barry's X): Recognizing the need for flexibility, Barry's also offers a digital platform, "Barry's X," providing on-demand and live classes for those who want to work out from the comfort of their home.
Barry's TriBeCa is known for its high-end features and unique atmosphere, designed to enhance the overall workout experience.
The Red Room: This is the iconic feature of any Barry's studio. The workout takes place in a dimly lit room with red lighting, creating an immersive, high-energy environment that helps clients feel focused and motivated, separate from the outside world.
Top-of-the-Line Equipment: The studio is equipped with premium Woodway treadmills, which are known for their high quality and shock-absorbent design, making them a favorite among runners and athletes for reducing impact on joints.
The Fuel Bar: After class, members can visit the in-house Fuel Bar, a space dedicated to post-workout recovery. Here, you can pre-order or purchase customized protein shakes and other grab-and-go options to help refuel your body after a demanding workout.
High-End Amenities: The locker rooms are equipped with premium toiletries from brands like OUAI, as well as complimentary towels for both class and showering. This provides a luxurious and convenient experience, allowing members to go directly from their workout to their next engagement feeling fresh and clean.
Expert and Motivating Instructors: The quality of the instructors is a major highlight. They are praised for their ability to push clients while providing clear, easy-to-understand instructions, even over loud music. This expert guidance is a critical component of the Barry's experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This location is on the smaller end. Since the showers are downstairs, it gets quite stuffy inside the downstairs lockers. The ventilation is poor and they have fans going in the Women's. While they have all the toiletries you'd need, there are only 3 showers. So expect to wait for one if it's a packed class. The hair dryers kept automatically stopping every ~5 min bc the power strip kept turning off for some reason, which was a bit annoying. The shower/ locker area gets packed quick when there are lots of ppl inside. The Red Room is also a bit on the smaller side. All the lighter weights are in a back sliver of the room, so l'd recommend to book a spot away from the corners of the room, unless you don't mind crowds by your spot atter each circuit.Overall, like many folks have said, l've been to nicer, larger Barry's locations. Their Chelsea location is my favorite of the few l've been to.
February 27 · Veronica LeongLove Barry's TriBeCa! Kayla is excellent - her instructions were clear, and easy to understand which can always be the biggest challenge when there is loud music blasting. She had a wonderful personality and I really enjoyed her class - I will be back again!
July 07 · Christopher WhiteSam was a really great coach . It was my first time ever and I felt really comfortable and knew exactly what was going on . His playlist was really damn good . His coaching was consistent and thoughtful . I personally don’t like when the instructor talks a lot and Sam kept it to a minimum. Great class , great energy. I’ll be back !
May 17 · Jaclyn KressI booked a team event here and, unfortunately, had a terrible experience. My team and I arrived just in time for the class and went straight in without checking in first (my mistake for missing that in the fine print). When I entered, someone was already on the treadmill assigned to me, so I took the one next to it.While we were sprinting, an employee came up to us mid-run to get us off the treadmill. This distraction caused one of my colleagues to fall off the treadmill really badly. We were then told that because I hadn’t checked in, my spot had been given to someone on the waitlist and I would need to leave. As I was heading out, they said a floor spot had become available, so I returned to the room only to find that the spot was already taken.Overall, this was a chaotic and disappointing experience (which I’ve never seen in any other fitness class). The situation was handled poorly, especially considering it involved a serious safety risk.Next time, I hope the studio takes both safety and communication more seriously.
July 16 · Simge DemirciGreat workout and super nice staff at this TriBeCa location. I like the new workout rotation over the week, with the full-body reserved for the weekend. Great selection of healthy smoothies and Barry’s apparel. I love the workout of Luke and Amber, hard but enjoyable at the same time. For people new to Barry’s, in each workout class you usually have 2 to 4 rounds, depending on the coach, where you alternate running and floor. Enjoy!
