★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nice local yoga studio. There are many classes throughout the day with different teachers and teaching styles.
August 10 · Minh LạiA beautiful space with nice teachers (so far I’ve been twice). I am new to yoga and the classes have made me want to return. The only thing I would change is the class size. I didn’t like people’s feet constantly in my face this morning - it was too cramped.
August 05 · MacKinsey MI used a new student trial week, but, unfortunately, won’t be coming back. Both classes and instructors were absolutely wonderful. Sadly, there are things that a non-negotiable for me.Upon entering the studio there’s a very strong musty smell of old socks and people’s sweat. The blankets and mats smell like that too. When I pointed at that to the instructor she seemed genuinely surprised. But there’s no way I’m the only one who smells that. I asked if they could burn some sage or incense but she said they don’t do that at the studio (although it might help in between classes at least). Aside from that, the floor is covered with hair, lashes and dust - gross. Maybe if the studio would undergo a deep cleaning every day this wouldn’t happen. In addition, I happened to be present during a full class and I’ve never felt so claustrophobic… people’s feet are right above your head and vise versa. Wish I loved it because overall it’s a nice looking studio and the classes were good.
May 13 · Anna DogadinaThis is my local yoga studio. The teachers should get 5 stars they are all wonderful. Their policies around attendance and wait list are really intense however, and not always communicated well. And my interactions with front desk staff have ranged from pleasant to off-putting at times… there has to be a better way to handle timeliness than giving away someone’s spot 3 minutes before class begins. I don’t know any other studio that does that… give it away one minute after class starts and I’d get it.
April 22 · Thea BrooksLiving very close to the studio, I’ve walked by Arise numerous times and always thought “I should try it out” and I am SO glad I finally took the plunge! I’ve been doing the (incredibly reasonably priced!) $30 one-week unlimited offer for new students and I’ve gotten to try so many different classes! All of the teachers and classes have been fantastic. I feel such a sense of calm every time I go to the studio and I truly look forward to it as one of the best parts of my day. My fellow yogis have all been kind and friendly and the studio itself is bright, clean, and has incredible energy. Arise, you’ve gained a lifelong fan and I am signing up for my full-time membership. Thank you for being a bright spot in an uncertain world!
