Alo Yoga’s services are a unique blend of high-end retail and curated wellness experiences. The Hudson Yards location, while primarily a store, is known for hosting events and having a dedicated space for classes, embodying the brand’s “studio-to-street” mission. While a specific, full-time class schedule is not always publicly available, the brand is known for offering a variety of yoga classes at its studios, and the Hudson Yards location is a key part of their "Alo Studios Community."
Yoga Classes: The brand is founded on a deep connection to yoga and offers classes designed for all levels. Class types typically include "Flow," which is an all-levels yoga class with options for advanced postures, and "Power" which is a strong, flow-based class for endurance and stamina. Other potential class types include "Yoga Tone" which pairs yoga with weights, "Core Flow" for a challenging core-centric workout, "Flow to Stretch," and "Slow Flow" for a more gentle practice. The brand also offers classes for children, such as "Kids Yoga," which helps them expand creativity and increase body awareness.
High-Performance Athleisure: Beyond classes, the core service is providing a wide range of premium activewear, including "comfy sweaters," shorts, leggings, and a variety of other apparel and accessories. The store is meticulously organized to make finding what you need simple and enjoyable.
Community Events: Alo Yoga at Hudson Yards is known to host special wellness events, such as grand opening yoga flows and other community gatherings, which provide opportunities for New Yorkers to connect and practice together.
The combination of a well-stocked retail space and a dedicated area for movement makes Alo Yoga a unique destination for both shopping and wellness. It allows customers to shop for the gear they need and then experience the "mindful movement" that the brand is built upon.
Alo Yoga at Hudson Yards stands out for several key features and highlights that contribute to its premium brand experience.
Beautifully Designed Space: The store is described as "so cute," with a clean and modern aesthetic. The studio areas are also equipped to provide a serene and focused environment for practice.
High-Quality Products: Alo is a global leader in activewear design, known for its soft, comfortable, and high-performance clothing. This quality is a major highlight, with customers praising the feel and fit of the apparel.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently cancelled my Fabletics subscription but wanted some comfy sweaters that I could wear while jogging. My friend told me about Alo and so I went to this location. It is so cute! The tables were all set up so nicely and easy to find. Christina helped me find everything that I was looking for, and when things I didn't know I wanted. She showed me some cute shorts that were so soft and comfy, I ended up getting three pairs. 100% coming back here again.
June 28 · Stephanie MillerShopped here for the first time today and had a terrible experience. Everyone was extremely rude, disrespectful, and rushing their clients to check out. I’ve worked in retail for years and have never been rushed before by an associate yelling “next. Next. Next” multiple times while im stepping aside and putting my wallet away. A little grace goes a long way. Re-educate your staff Alo because this was an extremely disappointing experience and I will not ever be returning. Neda in the fitting room was the sweetest and the only helpful person in the store that day.
June 21 · Ariana IzquierdoI bought a 350 dollar pair of sweatpants from this store and in the first normal wash it turned into a 2 year old's clothes and it doesn't get any better. I took it back immediately and they don't accept exchanges or returns. I'm completely disappointed with this store. How can such an expensive product turn into this? Don't waste your money here.
August 04 · Tarkan ÜnlüWent in here for the first time, and I urge you to please trust the “terrible” reviews, as they are 100% true. These ladies that work here are not great at all, and utilize very discriminatory practices. If you walk in “looking rich”, they will greet you warmly, and if you look a certain way they will not greet you, and will be much less inclined to assist you in any way, shape, or form. It’s laughable how these ladies almost behave as if they own a personal stake in the company, and are elitists whose job it is to ensure that only “certain people” are allowed to wear the brand. I guess some money is better than others? I’d advise that you take your money where it would perhaps be valued more.
July 13 · AbbyBeware of rude staff/bullies at this store who will expect you to purchase items if you try things on in store and give you looks/gossip in front of you when you want to return items. I was incredibly discriminated against when I was trying to decide whether or not to return the items I brought in with me or exchange them for a different size/item. I’m 100% sure that they suspected the items I brought into the store with me were not indeed mine. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience and will not wish it on anyone. I should have looked up other reviews before visiting this store. I have been shopping at Alo for a long time but after this experience, will turn to Lululemon/Vuori instead.
